Yeap! It’s true, the comedy celebrity, twitted just hours after his grand-son was born. Jim was so thrilled about the event that he just couldn’t help himself to take a picture and show the world his new grandson. He tweeted the following with a link to a picture of the baby.
Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of California dynomite looks like! %^> http://twitpic.com/15liwi
Jackson is the first child of Jim Carrey’s daughter, Jane, and husband Alex. I think congratulations are in order! Congratulations to the whole family!!
“I had a show. Then I had a different show. Now I have a Twitter account.”
It’s official, the guy we all love has his very own Twitter account, and his first tweet is about an interview with a squirrel. My first reaction was “Why is a squirrel in his living room?” and if I can get an answer for that, I’ll be very happy. In all seriousness, I’m glad to see him turn his situation around and use it for comedy, because if this happened to most other people it would turn into something a lot worse. Good one on ya Conan! Can’t wait to see what he tweets next.

Let me know what you guys think. =P
Well, you’ve heard it, but have you seen them? Yes! the Disney star is engaged and she celebrated it big! Let’s say that she knows how to give back to her new fiance. However, this is a time when a paparazzi can go to far and when a celebrity needs to think where they do their thang!
Alright before I keep you in suspense - NO! I’m not going to put a picture here -, I’m going to show you the picture.
Now, I think he is enjoying himself a little bit too much, but hey! they are together! Is their thing and they can do whatever they want. However, this is something I think they could have done in the room or something, unless, they were doing something else and the dirty thoughts of everyone’s head just hit me for a second and now i’m making a fool out of myself. But what do you depict from the picture?
Either way, Congratulations Hilary!
Well, after watching all the drama unfold on the news, I thought I would give my two cents on this situation. I’m not sure if you have seen the latest episode of Family Guy, but here is the gist of it. The episode featured a girl that has down syndrome and Chris had fallen in love with her. After going out on a date with her she makes a small remark about who are her parents:
“My dad is an accountant and my mom is the ex-governor of Alaska”
Woah…Woah..Woah..Woah..Woah.. Her dad is an accountant? Anyways after this aired last Sunday some people were FURIOUS! about the small remark towards Sarah Palin, including Ms. Palin; she has a son who has down syndrome and people were disgusted at the idea that Family Guy’s creator — Seth MacFarlane – would make a joke about that sensitive subject. Sarah Palin and her daughter both had strong words like “heartless jerks” when they described the show and said that the show was not funny.
But! The actress who did the voice over for the down syndrome girl — Andrea Fay Friedman –, which by the way has down syndrome too, sent the following email to The New York Times (the newspaper also interviewed her):
I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line “I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska” was very funny. I think the word is “sarcasm.”
In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life.
After reading all of this, I had to say that Andrea just showed how the world should! but does not function. Andrea herself has down syndrome but that has not stopped her for reaching her dreams and living a normal life. Aren’t we always taught about equality and living together no matter what are the circumstances etc? Why is then Sarah Palin taking offense about this particular line from this show? Granted, the line was directed at her but if she doesn’t like the show why is she watching it? If you really look at the episode, it wasn’t making fun of people with down syndrome. The girl with down syndrome had power, a regular guy was in love with her. She was living a normal life. Yes, she was in a way a b*** but that was her role in the episode.
Also, this show is a satire comedy show. They make fun of people ALL the time!!! Yes maybe sometimes they go way too far, but is not like anybody has gone way too far with a joke before. I think people need to get a little bit of sense of humor and laugh at themselves once in a while. If you don’t like it.. Ignore it. When you make drama about it, it just makes it grow and grow. Is not going to stop because they know is going to piss you off. Let it go. Live your life. Don’t let others live your life.
What do you think? Did the joke went too far?
Wao. Simply…Wao. I saw this video posted on a Facebook Wall and I thought this had to do with the song “Banana Phone” or something cool like that. However, I was wrong. When I started watching, I couldn’t stop cringing to the horrific site of this video; but for some odd reason, I just couldn’t stop watching. Onison was the creator of this video and this is what probably makes people famous on YouTube. This video is nothing from being sane, but it has over 1 million views! The video doesn’t make sense, but we still watch it and laugh at the things that are occurring.
However, I have to admit that the song is quite catchy..**blblblblblblbl** STOP! What do you think?

Well, now I know why the majority of college student voted for Obama… it was all a mind trick from the College/University!!! According to Fox News, a new study shows that a certain degree in college is more likely to turn its students Liberal. Not only that, but it doesn’t help you get any more educated. Now, when I listened to this, I just couldn’t stop laughing. This could be the most idiotic thing I’ve heard. I can understand that some teachers in college may try to influence their opinions on other, but when they get a job at a University they are NOT allowed to discuss politics, because they don’t want to influence their opinions on others. However that doesn’t seem to affect Fox News decision and say that 14,000 people who were surveyed proved this point and the news anchor mentioned that 14,000 is a hard number to beat. However, take into consideration that there are more than 300 million U.S. Citizens here in USA, so when you look at it: 14,000 is really a VERY…VERY small Number.
I think what shocked me the most was the fact that – although it wasn’t mentioned — is that going to college makes us dumber in some areas. So are they trying to persuade people to NOT go to college? Is now going to college going to make every student liberal? Are all college students dumb? Wasn’t Fox News an unbiased News Channel (I “lol-ed” when I thought of this question) ?
Many other questions remain, but the main thing here is… What do You Think?
Well It seems I’m not the only one who feels strongly about this. According to Jay-Z, the We are the World song, shouldn’t have been remade. I couldn’t agree more. I know that it may be horrible to say it since the song is for such a good cause, but the fact is, that the song could have been so much better. The new “We Are The World” song featured over 80 celebrities that came together for a great cause and record a song to help raise funds to relieve Haiti. However, when such a good song has been made (like the original from Michael Jackson) it shouldn’t be touched!
Here is why I didn’t liked it. Many say: “Oh! Justin Beiber ruined it, Miley Cyrus.. Blah Blah blah blah blah”. I agree with some of those comments though. Justin did over do it and so did Miley Cyrus, however! There is one that that I couldn’t stand is that they made changes to the song! That’s what killed it the most.
However, there is one good thing to say; that is that it makes me happy that many care about others in this world that we all live in.
Have you watched the Video? What were your thoughts about it? If you haven’t seen it. Here is the video:

This past Monday was the last episode of Heroes: Season 4. We saw the “end” of Samuel, Sylar becomes a Hero, Emma is not a Villain and Claire…well she is just Claire.
I have to admit though, that this finale was far greater than the last finale. Season 3 Finale disappointed in so many levels that for a minute or two, I thought about quitting the show all together. However, I’m glad I didn’t. Now there are a couple of things that are quite stupid in the series and that they need a little bit of more explanation. Also, they need to create a bit more consistency with their characters. Sylar has switched sides 4 times — Make up your mind FOOL! –. Hopefully he will stay a hero, but that we won’t know until next season. Another character that doesn’t make sense anymore is Claire. Claire is just there to look pretty. Her ability may be cool and all but all she has done is open her mouth and that’s it.
Either way, Season 5 looks promising. With Claire showing the world that she ain’t normal, what will that mean for our Heroes? My speculations are: one, the villains next season will be normal humans against the heroes; two, Claire is now the villain; three, the humans become obsessed with the Heroes and they demand Samuel to be released because is an atrocity and Samuel comes back for revenge (I highly doubt this one); finally, Sylar gets power hungry again and wants to become the RULER OF THE WORLD!!! (ok, sorry, got a bit carried away..)
NBC has not yet confirmed if there will be a Season 5 or not. We’ll see how NBC handles this one and we don’t have a repeat of the Late Night Fiasco.
Anyways, what are your speculations about the next season of Heroes? Are you even going to watch it? Do you think NBC will screw it all up again?
Alright! Go Saints! Woo!. Sorry, I didn’t watched the Super Bowl, however I, did watched the commercials and I have to say that this year they were pretty disappointing. Seeing how this is the only day that people actually WANT to watch the commercials, I wanted to see how companies would try to entertain us on the most expensive 30 seconds of their life. Don’t get me started on the 1 minute lengths!!
According to USA Today the most popular commercial was the Snickers commercial featuring Betty White and Abe Vigoda. However, this commercial was far from being entertaining; in fact, it was quite boring. Here take a look:
Now, I will give it to Betty White because she is just funny without trying. However, this particular was not her forte.
Needless to say, not all commercials were bad. There were a couple few good ones. Here is a list of my favorite ones:
You can watch them all here
Which was your favorite Superbowl Commercial?
In just a few hours, millions are going to sit down to watch the Saints and the Colts battle it out! I know everyone is excited for the game, but let’s not forget about the awesome new commercials! Want to get a sneak peek of some of the ones you’ll see tonight? Go check out Spike TV. They have previews of some of the ads we’ll see tonight as well as all the old commercials from previous years.
