    The Giant Ipod!

    Apple iPad

The wait is over!!! The Giant iPod is here! Oh! Sorry… my mistake, the “iPad”. Today, I think Apple made a fool of themselves by showcasing a giant iPhone as a next-gen Tablet PC. Many waited over the hype of what would be the next move of Apple in order to take control of many industries and many were disappointed — myself included –. I remember hearing about it a few months back that Apple would launch a new tablet PC that was all touch. I was impressed and wanted to see what this new piece of hardware would do. However, I think the photoshopped images that circulated around were more appealing than today’s announcement.

Get this. The gadget is basically a giant iPhone! or iPod Touch (since it doesn’t have camera, nor can make calls). It runs the iPhone OS system and all the apps for the iphone work on this device.. the Difference? The size! Instead of watching it in a tiny 3 inch screen, you get to watch it in a 9.7 inch screen! However, in every other matter it is still the same as an iPhone or iPod. Some of the non-existent features are among not having a camera, you can’t change the battery, it STILL can’t play Flash Websites, etc. However, is not all bad in this new reveal because they also showcased a new app called “iBooks” (Gee..How original) Basically is an e-reader in order to compete with the Kindle. However, it still does the same; except it looks fancier.

One good thing came out of this and it was the name and how it was used. The first joke to hit twitter was a trending topic named: “iTampon”. I bursted out laughing and had to say what it would be its punchline: “The iTampon… a great gift for the girl in need!” Also a fan page was created and quickly began gaining fans called: “The iPad is just a massive iPod”

If you want one the 16GB model, it will cost you $499 with ONLY Wi-Fi! If you want it with a 3G connectivity, then you have two options. First, buy a USB 3G drive to plug it in for $60 + $29.99/month (for the unlimited data plan) or you can get one with 3G integrated for $629+ $29.99/month (unlimited AT&T Data Plan). Now, would you get one? This brings me back to when the MacBook Air was released; it was a waste of time and basically you were burning $1299 for a laptop that need to be connected to everything in order to just “do” something. What are your thoughts on this epic FAIL?

I hate Handicap Permits and Fat People!!!

I hate Handicap Permits and Fat People Facebook Fanpage

No, I do not hate them. But this Fan Page is going to stir some controversy as people get to know it. This page was created by a user who feels that some people who are obese are taking advantage of the handicap permit just because they are lazy. Therefore, real people who have a handicap can’t have the parking spot they rightfully deserve. In the page he explains in the discussion section why he created the page. Although many won’t like it he does bring a good point of people who take advantage in order to be lazy, because it’s just sad.

I do acknowledge that it’s a bit of an extreme but hey in the internet you get your voice out no matter what.. Am I Right? What do you think? do you agree?

    Good Bye NBC…Hello $33 Mil.

    Conan O'Brien

Well it’s true and inevitable, Conan is leaving the Tonight Show. However, this wasn’t because he wanted to, this was because he stood up for what was right. Today the Tonight Show host bid adieu to NBC by closing out an exit deal for $45 Million in the process. Conan will be able to go for other networks who will enjoy having him (I hear News Corp [FOX] wants him) after his contract and relation ends with NBC (if it ends). The show is rumored that will

However, Conan didn’t kept the $45 Million to himself. He will get $33 out of the 45 (which is still very very good) and the rest will be divided around his crew of 200. Meanwhile Jay will return to the Tonight Show and the Jay Leno Show will be erased off the map.

Now, I don’t blame Leno and I don’t think anyone should blame Leno for this ridiculously bad judgment from NBC. They made the decisions to do all of this and they are the ones that are destroying what was once a good entertainment channel. What do you think about all this late night drama?

Hayden Panettiere is Red! Her hair that is…

    Hayden Panetierre

Just as the title is cliche, so is her do! I’ve never found Hayden to be pretty enough but to tell you the truth she looks better with blond hair. However, who am I to judge?! I bet to you, now most celebrities who once decided to go blond — and frankly looked bad — will go Red!

Yahoo OMG! posted the news about her debuting her red hair, but apparently she is also debuting a new guy. Now I don’t know about this stuff but I could say that this has been a week of change for Hayden. Her character turns lesbian with the help of Sylar and now this!? Are these all signs of the Apocalypse? I don’t know. I do know one thing, this red hair… is a big turn off.

Conan Tells NBC to SUCK IT

After much debate, NBC decided to give Jay Leno The Tonight Show back. Conan O’Brien is understandably not happy. He released a statement earlier today saying he wouldn’t participate in the destruction of The Tonight Show:

So it has come to this: I cannot express in words how much I enjoy hosting this program and what an enormous personal disappointment it is for me to consider losing it. My staff and I have worked unbelievably hard and we are very proud of our contribution to the legacy of The Tonight Show. But I cannot participate in what I honestly believe is its destruction. Some people will make the argument that with DVR’s and the Internet a time slot doesn’t matter. But with the Tonight Show, I believe nothing could matter more.

So I guess in NBC’s eyes, that means that Conan was quitting because they just released a statement saying that they are giving Leno his old show back:

We’re told NBC honchos still have to sit down with Jay’s rep and put the finishing touches on a new deal, but NBC has signed off on the plan if Conan O’Brien leaves … and Conan has made it clear that he’s leaving the network, and not on good terms.

Of course he is not leaving on good terms NBC; you just raped him of all his hopes and dreams. What I want to know is how the hell did Jimmy Fallon come out of this shit storm smelling like rose?

    The Hero of Time

Caution: Long Post Ahead: What?! A Legend of Zelda Movie? Is this a Joke? Is this like the prank IGN did in April Fools? Nop! Ladies and gentlemen this is actually a true full feature film based of the Legend of Zelda. However, don’t let this fool you, it may be a full feature film, but it is still a fan-made movie, which means they didn’t had no budget (or a very small budget) to create the movie. I was able to catch this movie and now I finally write you this review of it. Because, I think the time spent on this movie deserves a little attention. (more…)

Jay Leno Goes Back to 11:35 Time Slot

Buh Bye Conan! After the Olympics, Jay Leno is going back to his former 11:35 spot. His show will be cut down to a half hour. Conan O’Brien will be moved to 12:05, and Jimmy Fallon to 1:05. NBC said “they are committed to keeping Conan O’Brien on NBC…”

Well NBC, that 10:00 time slot was short lived.

    PS3 + Girlfriend = Big Trouble

Do you have a PS3? How about a Girlfriend? Do you make time for both of them? You don’t? Haven’t you learned from the video above?

This is why whenever you have a machine — whether it would be a PS3, Xbox, PC, etc --  you need to learn to create balance. Balance enough so that you have the time for both of them, because this situation above may happen to you. Think about it.. and don’t tell me I didn’t tried to help you.

Presenting the Google Phone: “Nexus One”

Actually…why I don’t let these guys tell you all about it:

Anyways, I found this video hilarious. We’ll see how this new phone will be. Maybe this will be the end of the iPhone? Or maybe this is just part of Google’s plan to take over the world…Time will tell.

Alright! Yes I am a bit late on writing a review for this movie, but fear not, this will give you the opportunity to share your thoughts about this movie. Maybe you share the same thoughts as I do or maybe you don’t. Either way, here we go:

The opening week of this movie it was the most talked about movie of 2009 (many say it was the talk of the decade!) I tried to see it, but huzzaa! It was all sold out. However, during my trip to Puerto Rico, I had to chance to experience it in 3D and for only $9.00! (Can you BELIEVE THAT?!?!??! So Cheap!)

Anyways, I won’t deny it, the movie was good and in 3D was beautifully rendered (the night scenes were spectacular!). However — I don’t know if this was because people hyped me up to go see the movie — the movie was not as amazing as people write or talk about it to be. It was a good movie, I would recommend seeing it, but I don’t think is one of the BEST movies of all time. The movie was quite predictable throughout. At one point, I was with a friend and I said: “Hey…I think this will happen…” to the point my friend went: “SHHH!”. But anyways, by 45 minutes in, I figured out the rest of the movie as they gave up more new information.

Now, if you haven’t seen it, I think you should see it. It is a beautiful movie, with a couple of funny messages (of course figurative speaking) What are your thoughts on the movie?
