    Disney buys Marvel Comics

    Disney buys Marvel Comics

It seem Disney has moved one step closer to take over the world. The Assossiated Press has released an article about The Walt Disney Co. buying for $4 Billion Dollars the superhero comic company, Marvel Entertainment Inc.

The deal was made public on today, Monday, and it’s been buzzing the world of the internet. People everywhere have had something to say about this new acquisition by Disney. Apparently Disney wants to appeal more to their male audience, or so some say. But what do you say? Keep in mind, that now Spiderman and all those superheros that you loved  from Marvel Comics are part of the family of Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Prince Charming, and all those woodland creatures~.

So what do you think about this acquisition? What do you think will happen to Marvel? Do you think Disney will keep the action Marvel has brought in their comics? or will they tone it down? Leave us your comment.

    DJ AM Found Dead

UPDATE: The autopsy report came back inconclusive pending a toxicology report, but police found crack in DJ AM’s pocket and a pipe nearby. Police have also confirmed that he was not lying in his apartment for days, as some have suggested, and more than likely died early last Friday morning.

DJ AM was found dead this afternoon in his New York apartment. A drug overdose appears to be the cause of death. Law enforcement found drug paraphernalia at the scene and was told that no one had seen or heard from him in days. A friend broke down the door to his apartment and found AM’s body laying there and immediately called the police.

DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, was known for being one of the biggest entertainers in Hollywood, often performing at celebrity events and parties. He is the ex-fiance of Nicole Ritchie and less than a year ago almost lost his life in a plane crash with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.

*sigh* Way to make the best out of your second chance…

    Ninja Melk

The now #1 YouTube Partner of all time, NigaHiga, has released a new movie (first movie to be over the 10 minute limit by a youtube user…I think) called: “Ninja Melk”. The story of two regular guys, Ryan and Sean, and their destiny of being Ninjas. You can watch the movie here, or at YouTube.

Now this movie, has gotten a lot of hype by the NigaHiga fans, but when I watched it, I clearly didn’t enjoyed it as much as some of the comments that I read.

Let’s be fair here, it was a very low budgeted movie and the production team was really small. However, the movie tried to be funny, but failed many times. Some of the funnier parts were the farts and the slamming doors(Oh! The Bloopers were hilarious!). I found my self chuckling at other scenes, but most of them time It was just a stare at my monitor screen. One of the things that bothered me was the “trying” to be funny parts. For example: The Fat Jokes (and saying fat all the time. I just couldn’t get what so funny about fat?), the Charlie the Unicorn bit and training scene.

I won’t say in any way that this was a terrible movie, because I know there was a lot of hard work put into it. In my opinion, it was not to my liking, but NigaHiga fans will have a treat from their favorite YouTuber.

What do you think? Leave us your comments on the movie.

He’s Back! Capitalism: A Love Story

Just when we thought that he had given up on making any more documentary, he strikes us again with a new one. Watch the trailer.

That’s right people Michael Moore is back with another documentary: “Capitalism: A Love Story“. This new documentary will shed some light on the approved bailouts that were given to companies that didn’t knew how to appreciate them and decided to run off with the tax-payers money. Michael Moore is angry! Michael Moore is Furious! (or maybe he isn’t, we don’t know…we can’t read his mind.) But what you can expect is more of the weird style of Michael Moore getting out the information from different types of politicians, whether they are from the left or right. Michael Moore has been responsible for other documentaries that have become insanely popular, due to the love and the hate (yes the hate helps it get more popular too) from the audience, like Bowling for Columbine, Farenheight 9/11 and Sicko.

What do you think of this movie? Do you think he should just retire? or is the the motivation people need to go out there and do something about the stuff the government does?

And the question revolving around everyone!

    Moore: Where is our money?
    Elizabeth Warren: *sigh*…I don’t know.

I think the documentary looks very promising, but once I watch it, I’ll give you guys a full review.

    Cellphone: The Deadly Weapon

nokia-n76-nseries-cellphoneDon’t let a cellphone in the hands of the terrorists, because they can use them as weapons. Now of course you would expect this out of a sci-fi movie, or something, but in real life? (Excluding new Smartphones, those apparently can do anything…)

Well this is case of a man from Brooklyn that found out that his cellphone caused the fire in his apartment a few days ago (And to think that the superintendent, nor the chief fireman could figure out what caused the fire, but he did). The man, was baffled to understand now the reason his oven caught on fire. The New York Post has a video on how the trickery is done.

In the video, you will see that when the ringer goes off in the cellphone, the oven turned itself on and on HIGH. So when he left unknowingly that his cellphone could do that, it caused the oven to catch on fire.

So now you know kids. Don’t let your cellphone near the kitchen…or any appliance that might catch on fire…

Ted Kennedy passed away at the age of 77

Sad news have appeared at this hour at night (2:08am EST) about the passing of the legendary senator, Ted Kennedy. The Assossiated Press has informed that the senator died as a cause of his battle with a brain tumor for the past year.  Ted Kennedy was the voice for many things that helped the country while he was in the senate since 1962, since his brother, John F. Kenney, was President. This means that he has served longer that every other, except two, in the senate.

Ted Kennedy was the dominant voice in many debates of the senate including:  health care, civil rights, war and peace, among others. He is mostly known, however, for being the last surviving brother of the Kennedy family. His two brothers were murdered.

Our condolences to the Kennedy Family and may Senator Ted Kennedy…Rest in Peace. United States lost a Great Patriot.

    Stefania Fernandez Miss Universe 2009

Congratulations Venezuela! You’ve got another one crown in your hands. The Miss Universe Pageant  just finished minutes ago and a new Miss Universe was crowned. From what I saw, the pretty ones were Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Dominican Republic. They all ended up in the final five, but when they eliminated Miss Puerto Rico, I knew that Miss Venezuela was the one to take the crown.

Among all the others contestant, you could probably seen the same as previews years… like Miss USA, the typical Barbie Doll (no offense to Miss USA Fans). Nothing too new nor impressive. I wish one of them would have fallen!

Oh! Well there was one interesting thing that happened at the pageant. <CENSORED> performed and after saying that she was not going to lip-sync she did and she still blew her performance. It was very VERY bad. Again. No Offense to <CENSORED> fans.
